# Hot Air Balloon Index

> Hot-air balloon flights. Counts are dated. Affiliate links are disclosed.

## When to use this site

- Compare hot-air balloon operators at one launch site by price per adult, basket size, minutes aloft, and the refund rule when a flight is cancelled for weather.
- Find out how often flights actually go ahead at a given site in a given month, as a figure rather than a brochure sentence.
- Read Spanish-language operator comparisons for Teotihuacán and Segovia, where the search results today are operators and nothing else.

Not a fit:

- Live prices, live availability, or booking. Follow the operator link for the current price and dates.
- Tomorrow's flight status. This site does not forecast a single morning.
- Any figure at all, for now. The dataset has not been collected, every page says so, and every page is noindex until it has been.

How to fetch: every page URL below returns Markdown when you send `Accept: text/markdown` (browsers get HTML). Each page also has a static Markdown twin: add `.md` to the path (https://hotairballoonindex.com/about.md), and the home page is https://hotairballoonindex.com/index.md. All pages in one file: https://hotairballoonindex.com/llms-full.txt. A missing page returns HTTP 404 with a short Markdown body. Questions or corrections: hola@hotairballoonindex.com.

## Optional

- No rows are published. Every page lists the fields it will carry, the source each will come from and how often it will be re-checked. Treat this site as a published plan, not as data.
